At Stateline Subaru, our commitment to giving back to the community is unwavering. Through partnerships like the one we have with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), and our active involvement in the Subaru Love Promise initiative, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of those around us. These partnerships allow us to support important causes and provide assistance to those in need, reinforcing our dedication to making a difference in our community. Together, thanks to our customers and with the support of Subaru Love Promise, we can continue to spread love, hope, and support to those who need it most.
Subaru Loves to Help
Providing comfort, hope, and confidence to children in urgent need.
Helping others is the key to a strong community which is why Subaru and our
retailers believe in helping to support individuals and families in urgent
need. During Subaru Loves to Help® month, we partner with
Operation Warm, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the
resources they need to thrive. Subaru is proud to be the largest automotive supporter of Operation Warm.Â
Subaru and its retailers visit local homeless shelters
and support agencies to provide more than 150,000 children with brand-new
necessities like coats, shoes and socks. Subaru and its retailers will have helped more than 750,000 children and adults in urgent need.
Subaru Loves the Earth
At Subaru, we believe what we leave behind is a reflection of who we are. That's why for over two decades, Subaru has been committed to leaving a legacy of protecting and conserving the earth for future generations. Along with our retailers across the country, Subaru works to reduce waste, conserve resources, and preserve natural spaces - taking real, meaningful steps to achieve these goals.
To support the places Subaru and our owners love most, Subaru is the largest corporate donor to the National Park Foundation and has donated over $72 million to organizations working to conserve our national parks. In addition to helping the national parks recycle and compost over 22 million pounds of waste so far, we have also helped replant more than 1 million trees.
Now more than ever, Subaru is in constant pursuit of opportunities that will protect our planet for the future. With upcoming initiatives that include expanding our zero-emission and electric vehicle lineup to eight vehicles by around 2029 and exploring innovative new ways to make a difference, we're keeping our eyes on the road ahead to protect the environment for generations to come.
Subaru Loves to Care
Spreading Messages of Hope
Through Subaru Loves to Care, we support the LLS in their mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. In collaboration with Subaru of America, this initiative endeavors to bring comfort and encouragement to those bravely facing cancer treatments. Together, we aim to spread warmth, love, and hope to individuals navigating the challenges of cancer, providing them with the support and strength they need during their journey to recovery.
Supporting the LLS Mission
As part of this initiative, we extend a heartfelt invitation to our valued customers and community members to join us in spreading love and hope to cancer patients through Subaru Loves to Care. By submitting Messages of Hope, whether in person or online, you can make a tangible difference in the lives of those undergoing cancer treatment. Every message received will accompany the donation of blankets to local cancer patients, offering warmth and comfort during their challenging journey. Together, as a united community, we can bring solace and support to those affected by cancer, demonstrating the power of compassion and collective action.
Subaru Loves Learning
Subaru retailers help local schools and students in need through our partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org (AAC) and help expand our collective impact on education. Retailers adopt classrooms at partner schools by providing financial support to address specific resource needs.Â
Millions of students in high-needs schools lack the supplies and learning materials they need to be successful in the classroom. In fact, 92% of classrooms have students whose families cannot afford to purchase any school supplies for their children, often requiring teachers to purchase resources using their own money. Â
Subaru and our retailers are continuing our support of education and high-needs schools in our communities through Subaru Loves Learning® by providing teachers across the country with funding to purchase the school supplies and resources they know are most needed to help students thrive in the classroom.
Subaru Loves Pets
Empowering Our Community With Pet CPR Classes
In addition to our partnership with the LLS, we are also passionate about supporting initiatives that promote the well-being of animals in our community. That's why we were thrilled to partner with Mary Arruda, a local high school student, to provide free Pet CPR classes through our Love Promise and Subaru Loves Pets initiative.
A Gold Award Project with a Purpose
Mary's Gold Award Project, the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve, focused on providing CPR and first aid training for pets. With the support of Stateline Subaru, Mary organized and hosted two successful Pet CPR classes, which were attended by members of our community eager to learn life-saving skills for their furry companions.
Saving Lives, One Paw at a Time
Participants in Mary's classes received hands-on training in pet CPR, emergency muzzling, restraint, vital signs assessment, and more. Each participant even received a demo animal with training props to practice their skills at home. Mary's project also promoted the Red Cross Pet First Aid app, providing users with instant access to pet emergency procedures and general care tips.
To further incentivize participation, Mary and Stateline Subaru offered pet first aid kits to the first 100 people who downloaded the Red Cross Pet First Aid app. Through initiatives like Mary's Pet CPR classes, we are proud to support the health and safety of pets in our community and empower individuals with life-saving skills.
Subaru Share the Love
Over $288 million donated to charity.
Over the last 16 years, through the Subaru Share the Love® Event, Subaru and our participating retailers have donated more than $288 million to charity, with customers choosing between four national charities and nearly 2,300 hometown charities.
In addition, Subaru and its retailers have:
- Donated & Delivered More than 4.6 Million Meals
- Helped Protect More than 400 National Parks
- Granted More than 3,600 Wishes
- More than 118,000 Animals Supported
