Subaru Forester Performance

At the heart of the Subaru Forester, you'll find a 2.5L SUBARU BOXER® engine. It generates 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. It's equipped with an Auto Start-Stop system that helps save fuel and reduce emissions by shutting down the engine when idling. Once you take your foot off the brake pedal, it fires right back up.

The standard Lineartronic® CVT (Continually Variable Transmission) gives you a smooth ride and maximizes fuel economy. It helps the Subaru Forester achieve an EPA-estimated 26 city/33 highway MPG.

This SUV also comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It provides balanced power to all four wheels, so you'll have more capability on slick roads. Plus, the available X-MODE® will optimize this system to make you more confident on all-terrain paths.

Subaru Forester Trim Levels

You'll have five trim levels to choose from with this SUV, so there's bound to be one with the combination of features you need. It all starts with the base Subaru Forester trim level. The proceeding trim levels include:

As you ascend through the Forester trim levels, each one gives you more comfort and connectivity. For example, the Limited and the Touring trims come standard with a dual-zone automatic climate control system. The Touring is the only trim that comes standard with a Navigation system.
