2019 Subaru Forester Review

The new Subaru Forester is a capable SUV that both families and commuters can trust to get you safely through any conditions. So, what is the latest model capable of?

To show drivers in Somerset, Bristol, and Fall River what it has to offer, Stateline Subaru put together this 2019 Subaru Forester review.

2019 Subaru Forester Performance

The 2019 Subaru Forester delivers a dependable and efficient performance. It has standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Vehicle Dynamics Control to make sure you have a stable drive on any terrain.

Under the hood it runs on a 2.5L 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine that gets up to 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain can help you bring extra cargo on your next trip by towing up to 1,500 pounds.

To manage this engine, you'll have an intelligent Lineartronic® Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). While it provides you with precise gear shifting, you can also control the gears manually without a clutch thanks to 7-speed manual mode and paddle shifters.

The CVT and the efficient engine combine to give you great fuel economy. The Subaru Forester can get up to an EPA-estimated 26 MPG city and 33 MPG highway.
