When you're considering a sedan like the 2019 Subaru Legacy, there's a lot that you'll need to consider to help you decide. While engine specs and performance rank high, you'll also want to carefully consider the Subaru Legacy interior with a focus on the space, the style, and the features. At Stateline Subaru, we're here to help drivers in Somerset, Bristol, and Fall River get a glimpse inside the new Legacy.

Keep reading to get a sense of what it's like in the cabin on the Subaru Legacy.

Interior Dimensions & Cargo Space

The Legacy was designed to carry five passengers with its 104.6 cubic feet of allotted passenger space in the cabin. Passengers up front get 40 inches of headroom and 42.9 inches of legroom. Riders in the second row get 37 inches of headroom and 38.1 inches of legroom. The new Subaru Legacy also offers 15 cubic feet of trunk space, which is roughly 2-3 cubic feet more spacious than most sedans in the same class.

When equipped with a moonroof, the interior dimensions are affected slightly, but only in terms of headroom. Front-row passengers get 37.6 inches of headroom while second-row passengers get 37 inches.

Cabin Comforts & Style

The base trim of the new Legacy includes the 6-way manually adjustable driver's seat. However, by upgrading to the next trim level, the driver's seat features the 10-way power adjuster, which provides more customizable comfort options. The lower trims include cloth seating upholstery and silver metallic accent trim with a knurled finish. Upgrading to the Limited trim adds the leather-trimmed upholstery with a silver metallic with woodgrain-patterned matte finish accents.

Interior Technology & Entertainment Features

The Subaru Legacy interior includes the STARLINK™ system. The base trim includes the 6.5-inch Multimedia Plus touchscreen that includes the connectivity-driven Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, as well as plenty of media options from the radio, CD player, and integration with Pandora®, Aha™, and SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (offered as a 3-month trial subscription). This system also includes Magellan® navigation and the SiriusXM Travel Link®.

Drivers who upgrade to the Premium trim or higher will get the 8-inch touchscreen. An even further upgrade includes the integrated Navigation system, which provides turn-by-turn directions while displaying the GPS location of the vehicle and its path to the destination.
